Treme

Hallelujah. According to this Guardian article, David Simon, creator of the Wire, is working on a new series called Treme, dealing with “musicians in post-Katrina New Orleans,” for HBO. The Wire had a gift for showcasing amazing local musicians, so expectations are high for what Treme might bring. A Weezy plotline, perhaps?
